Cyberpunk 2077 was a huge success with the release of the Phantom Liberty DLC and update 2.0. but if you don’t already have the base game, know that you will be able to purchase both at once, as the reports about the Ultimate Edition were correct: CD Projekt RED has just confirmed the release date of Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition in version physical and digital.
The announcement was made by the game’s official account on X, formerly known as Twitter, where CD Projekt RED states that the game will be sold in physical and digital versions for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series S|X.
The new version will have an exclusive cover featuring some of the game’s main characters such as V and well-known actors who participate in the work such as Keanu Reeves and Idris Elba.

After the success of Cyberpunk 2077’s 2.0 update and the release of the Phantom Liberty expansion, CD Projekt Red felt confident enough to announce that the game would get a complete edition in the future, including the base game and the expansion on a single CD.
This week, the new edition of the game was spotted in the GameStop database, one of the most reputable stores in the United States.

No further details were provided, but this version will likely include the Cyberpunk 2077 base game and the recently released Phantom Liberty expansion.
An interesting piece of information is that the Phantom Liberty expansion is sold for US$29.99 on the PlayStation and Xbox stores, and the base game can usually be found for US$19.99 (sometimes less than that) for both platforms. There is also a Cyberpunk 2077/Phantom Liberty digital bundle available in stores that currently retails for between $70 and $79.99, but can often be purchased digitally for around $50.
