Virtual reality has been very useful for training in risky or extreme precision environments, where errors must be minimal. The software offers an operating room experience, which, according to doctors, has helped medical students leave the classroom better prepared for real-life situations. The novelty has been applied in several hospitals in the United States and is a great hope for the development of the profession in needy countries, such as Tanzania, Cambodia and Ethiopia.
